Avoiding Scams

There are lots of Paid Survey Scams and people making money selling free stuff on the internet. If you get nothing else from our site, we hope you read the following, as it not only will save you time and money, but if people get caught by a scam, then the whole on-line survey community is affected.

Paid Sites

There are a lot of sites that promise you huge profits and a guaranteed way to make money, then ask you to pay them for this information.

Almost always (and there are always exceptions) these people are just going to provide you with a list of research companies, and the same information we offer for free. Some of them will charge you and re-direct you to this site, or to yellowsurveys.com for non-Australians, both free sites.

In addition, most sites that want to charge you for there "Exclusive" Survey lists, are aimed at Americans, not Australians. If you join, you may find a lot of money goes down the drain.

So, if a person asks you for money for this information, think twice. Survey Companies are almost entirely free, and the steps to making profits can be freely obtained in lots of sites on the internet (including this one), where the research has already been done for you.

Spam Sites

A lot of sites report themselves as paid surveys, but are just spam sites that will never send you a survey. These are hard to spot, but if they simply ask you for a name and e-mail address, and that's all that is on there site, then there is a big chance they are spam sites.

300+ Sites

There are lots of Marketing companies, but those that accept Australians, and pay you or give you rewards, are limited. Not to mention, there is a limit to how many surveys you can actually take in a day.

Site Lists Only

AussiePaidSurveys.com is not a paid survey site. It is a referral business, and an information page aimed at helping Australians get paid for surveys.
There are many sites that advertise as Paid Survey sites, but are, in fact, referral businesses like ours. Generally they don't actually offer you any benefits, and they don't have a members area, but they can be hard to spot. There is, in principle, nothing wrong with this, but it is a little deceptive, and you'll probably start receiving regular e-mails from them recommending you join the surveys that we already have in the Survey List.
